Who Will Benefit & When?

Literally every area of the University will benefit because a new IT solution has been selected for each of these key areas:

• Kuali Financial System is replacing our current financial system, FRS.

• Kuali Coeus Research Administration is replacing SPINS.

• PeopleSoft Human Capital Management is replacing the current HR/Payroll system, PSOS.

• PeopleSoft Student Administration is replacing the current Student Administration System, SIS/MATRIX.

• Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition (OBI EE ) is a comprehensive suite of enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) products that delivers a full range of analysis and reporting capabilities. OBI EE provides intelligence and analytics from data spanning enterprise sources and applications—expanding the availability of business information to managers and executives.

Implementation will occur over a three-year period, with the majority of milestones occurring in the second year and early in the third year. The Arizona Board of Regents ATOC-Approved Timeline is as follows:

  

How Will the Mosaic Project be Funded?

The Arizona Board of Regents Technology Oversight Committee has approved a bonding approach to cover a portion of the cost of implementing the new systems. However, there are three funding streams in all. The estimated incremental cost of implementation, over a five-year period, is $80 million, excluding contingency funding. The last two years reflect an estimated $9.6 million in increased annual ongoing costs.
