UAccess Student Go Live!
Course Catalogue & Schedule of Classes Go Live - October 12, 2009!
The greenbar process for Fall 2010 will be different from our current process. Room and Course Scheduling and the Student Records Team for the PeopleSoft Mosaic Student Administration Project have been hard at work and have succeeded in implementing this process in the new UAccess Student Administration system. The new process is an automated, online process. Academic departments will be able to view their courses and make changes or additions in the new system. This system went live Monday, October 12.
The new automated, online process has been in place for the Room and Course Scheduling staff for approximately 1 month and the Student Administration team introduced it to the campus on November 5. Academic departments will be able to view their courses and make changes or additions in the new system once they have completed training on the new functionality.
Workshop training sessions are taking place through November 17 to introduce the new system and the new process for creating Fall 2010 courses. In this hands-on workshop, attendees learned how to use UAccess Student to schedule and modify classes for their department, including classes with multiple components such as labs and discussion sections. They also learned how to set up combined classes and customize class preferences.
Access to the new system will be granted upon completing training. The timeline and deadlines for departments to complete their work in UAccess Student Administration will be similar to the greenbar deadlines in previous years.
