Welcome to the MOSAIC Project Web site . . . where we hope to help the pieces of this enormous undertaking fit together in a way that's meaningful for inquiring minds!
Mosaic? Mosaic was the friendly moniker given to the Enterprise Systems Replacement Project (ESRP), a campus-wide endeavor that over 5 years involved the replacement of most of the aged administrative computer systems on the University of Arizona campus. The four key areas- Student Administration, Financials, Human Resources / Payroll, and Research Administration - received a significant upgrade. In addition, we implemented a Business Intelligence solution to adapt to changing administrative systems and to greatly expand the availability of business information to managers and executives.
What is the Mosaic Community? The Mosaic Community – an online professional network where UA employees affected by the Mosaic Project can connect, stay informed, and share ideas and experiences – is now the UAccess Community . Since the Mosaic Project will be completed by June 31, 2013, the Mosaic Community has evolved into the UAccess Community to grow and meet the needs of the UAccess user community as the projects have transitioned to the UAccess systems.
